## Overview

Appointment hours define when customers can book appointments with you. You configure them using **week templates** and **day templates**.

> Your Office Manager can also update your appointment hours on your behalf.

## Week templates

### Default template

Every Agent has a **Default** week template. It is blank by default – you need to add hours and offices before customers can book with you.

To configure the Default template:

1. Go to **Account settings** > **Appointment hours**.

2. Select the **Default** template.

3. Click **Configure slots**.

4. Click and drag on the weekly grid to create time blocks for each day.

5. Select the **offices** where you are available during those times.

6. Choose whether appointments should be **auto-accepted** or require **manual confirmation**.

7. Click **Save**.

### Additional week templates

You can create additional week templates for recurring schedules (for example, an alternating week pattern):

1. Go to **Account settings** > **Appointment hours**.

2. Click **\+ New template**.

3. Enter a **Name** for the template.

4. Set the **Order** (determines display position).

5. Choose a **Color** (helps distinguish templates on the calendar).

6. Configure the time slots, offices, and confirmation settings as described above.

7. Click **Save**.

### Applying week templates to the calendar

To assign a week template to specific weeks:

1. Go to **Account settings** > **Appointment hours**.

2. Navigate to the calendar view.

3. Click and drag across the dates you want to assign.

4. Select the template to apply.

> You can assign templates up to 11 months ahead.

## Day templates

Day templates are used for **exceptions** to your regular weekly schedule, such as a half-day or a training day.

### Default “Unavailable” template

A built-in **Unavailable** day template is provided by default. Apply it to any day when you are not available for appointments.

### Creating day templates

1. Go to **Account settings** > **Appointment hours**.

2. Under **Day templates**, click **\+ New template**.

3. Enter a **Name** for the template.

4. Configure the time slots, offices, and confirmation settings.

5. Click **Save**.

### Applying day templates

1. Navigate to the calendar view in your appointment hours settings.

2. Select the specific day you want to override.

3. Assign the day template.

> Day templates override the week template for that specific day.

## Overriding planning rules

By default, your appointment hours follow the planning rules set by your Office Manager. You can override these for specific time blocks:
