## What is Pexip Engage?

Pexip Engage is a planning layer that integrates with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, and Google calendars. It enables customers to schedule appointments with Agents based on location, expertise, and availability.

## User interfaces

Pexip Engage provides two user interfaces:

-   **Engage Backoffice** – Used internally by Agents, Office Managers, and Administrators to create and manage the appointment process, including Agent and office profiles, availability management, calendar linking, and appointment modifications.
-   **Engage Plugin** – The customer-facing tool for booking appointments. Shared via links on websites, email signatures, and marketing campaigns. The workflow steps are configurable.

## Roles

Pexip Engage defines three roles for Backoffice users:

| Role | Responsibility | Access |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Agent | Participates in appointments and manages their calendars | Calendar and Appointments tabs |
| Office Manager | Sets up rules governing appointments, Agents, and offices | Team tab |
| Administrator | Sets up Pexip Engage for the organisation | Organisation tab |

All Backoffice users can access online Help and their account settings.
